The Sale Pavilion, a D'Aronco-designed building set in private gardens at the top of the park, open to the public as the Yildiz Chalet Museum. Inside, the long, creaking wooden corridors have a dark and musty quality, the 60 rooms furnished with the original ornate furniture of the period. The obligatory tour takes you to the Grand Salon, a massive court chamber, empty except for a line of chairs around the edge that point up the empty grandeur of the place.
