One of the cheapest places to eat at Kanyon is La Luz. La Luz, meaning the light in Spanish, has Aztec sun designs on the walls and the entire décor is focused around this theme. Though it looks small, it has a capacity of 66. The orange colored chairs, shelves full of wine bottles and magazines and retro plastic lamps give the place a homey feel. There is something for everyone here, but the menu is heavy on Tex-Mex food. For starters, they have salads, quesadillas, fajitas, wraps, Tex-Mex specialties (burritos, taco burger, enchilada). Main course options include penne arrabiatta, penne verdure, salmon tagliatelle, veggie chicken fillet, chicken schnitzel, steak fillet, pesto puree steak. Usually Tex-Mex restaurants aren't the best for those on a diet, but La Luz succeeds with wheat pasta and grilled options. Portions are large and delicious. They also deliver.
