Fua

2.5 stars
Fua has a view of the Bosphorus, a terrace and is spread over three floors. Upon entering, you notice you are standing on an aquarium- and that fish are swimming under your feet! The restaurant is decorated with potted plants, red wall fixtures and wrought-iron handrails. The menu is loaded with everything you’d expect from a café and much more, so much so that you’ll find yourself a bit overwhelmed. Breakfast options, borek, starters, salads, pasta, sandwiches, wraps, burgers, fajitas, red and white meat, desserts, tea, coffee, fresh squeezed juices and even nargile can be found on the menu. During the day, Fua is full of students and families with children. The portions are filling, while the presentation is a bit retro. We struggled to remember the last time we had seen carrot and cucumber slices decorating the edges of a plate of tortellini. In the summer, colourful couches are placed in the garden as well as umbrellas. Every Sunday you can enjoy a brunch that includes more than 85 options. The main room also includes many large plasma TVs that important games are broadcast on; we think it goes without saying that the restaurant is popular with Besiktas fans.
