If you love Chinese food but are tired of going to the same places over and over again, then you should check out Çin Çin. The owners, Tülay and Özen, are ecstatic about the opening of the venue and you can tell from their friendly demeanor and bubbly personalities. There is a kitchen downstairs that you can go into whenever you want and watch how the food is prepared. There is also another kitchen, an open kitchen, upstairs where you can see all the way from the front entrance due to the glass window put up. Clearly the owners thought of every little detail. The service at the restaurant is superb and you never feel neglected; the take-out service is also very well organized. The interior décor of the restaurant is mainly red, white and black colors with anime characters on the walls and shelves. As you go down the stairs to the kitchen, you’ll notice that even along the walls there are small human figurines that show you the way. When you visit Çin Çin try and get a seat at the large booth right across from the open kitchen. The table is uniquely designed and the menu is in the shape of fan! On the menu you’ll find beef, chicken and vegetarian alternatives along with the Çin Çin economic choices. They also offer different kinds of soup, appetizers and main courses that we’re sure you haven’t tried elsewhere. We suggest trying the shrimp ravioli, or ‘Shao Mari’ with fried seafood. If you like red and white meat try the Mongolian chicken, or the fried ginger chicken with rice crisps, or the Kindo crispy beef. All of these go great with Jasmine tea, so make sure to order some as well! The Çin Çin salad has cucumbers, red turnip, and garlic sauce all prepared specially by the Head Chef. For those who can’t have a meal with bread, they offer bread that’s been baked in steam and is completely fat-free. Another light option is the special Noodle Soup at Çin Çin which has a very unique taste. The restaurant is literally a hop, skip and jump away from the beginning of Istiklal Caddesi, and also has 4 tables set up outside for smokers.
