Nişantaşı residents seem to have all the luck when it comes to great restaurants! Barbeque, which offers a mix of Italian and classic Turkish cuisine, is the latest venue to open in the trendy district. The menu consists of barbeque (duh), pide, durum as well as traditional Italian pizza. Those who can’t seem to give up carbs but also feel guilty indulging can opt for the wheat dough pizza, which is a bit lighter on the calories. You can also enjoy ‘lahmacun pizza’, a recent gastronomic trend we’ve noticed everywhere, which includes lahmacun ingredients on the wheat dough. For meat lovers, there also köfte, kebab and meat-heavy pizzas in addition to the barbeque options. The décor isn’t incredibly inviting or attractive but it’s clean and well-lit. There is a woven divider between the kitchen and dining area, and we have to admit it looks a bit tacky. If you’re the type who insists on the décor to match the quality of the food, then we’d recommend you order delivery to home.
